Description

The GX-D500 CO2 alarm is a prof. warning device with fixed alarm thresholds at 1.5% CO2 for pre-alarm and 3.0% CO2 for main alarm. Possible applications Small to medium-sized breweries, wine and fermentation cellars Gastronomy (beverage dispensing systems) Dry ice storage and processing (vaccination centres, street food trucks, ...) All systems with CO2 from pressurised cylinders (laboratories, warehouses, ...) and all systems in which a GX-A1 with GX-CO2-30 sensor was previously used DESCRIPTION The GX-D500 CO2 alarm is a prof. warning device with fixed alarm thresholds at 1.5% CO2 for pre-alarm and 3.0% CO2 for main alarm. The threshold value for the alarm, which is clearly perceptible both acoustically and visually, was deliberately chosen so high that bad room air caused by exhaled CO2 from people does not lead to false alarms, but defects in technical systems are immediately and reliably detected. The exact values are based on the specifications of the technical guidelines for beverage dispensing systems in the catering industry. In the event of an alarm, a potential-free changeover relay (230 V~ / 5 A) switches over, which can, for example, activate forced ventilation or close solenoid shut-off valves. A further potential-free changeover relay (60 V= / 5 A) switches in the event of technical faults detected by the device itself and thus informs the building control system, for example. In monitoring mode, both relays are energized and de-energized in the event of an alarm / malfunction. A large illuminated 2×16 character display constantly informs about the currently measured CO2 value and, when scrolling through with the SERVICE button, about further
