The ORBIT drive assembly fits into any gatepost with internal dimensions of 148 x 148mm minimum. The drive unit incl. motor and controller is mounted onto a console. This complete drive assembly can be installed into the gatepost using only 4 screws. Immediate stop and reversing for a short distance on contact with an obstacle. Fasten the complete drive unit with motor and controller on the foundation. The gatepost is then placed over it and secured with screws. With all 230 slide gate openers an immediate stop via electronic brake and reversing for a short distance takes place when a safety device is activated. ELKA supplies rack module 4, galvanized steel, height adjustable, to be screwed on the gate or module 6, galvanized steel, to be welded on the gate.
