Lantern turnbuckle with 2 clevises, steel — 18-47 series (M6–M30).

Definition
A lantern turnbuckle is an openwork component with two reversed threaded rods on a common axis allowing tension adjustment by rotation between the two threaded rods. The ends accept accessories such as shackles, hooks, carabiners or thimbles to be used with cables, chain or synthetic slings. Warning: do not use as a load-bearing element or for lifting.

Material

• Stamped steel, white zinc-plated.
• Bolt: steel grade 8.8.
• Markings: diameter, CE.
• Warning: not to be used as a traction or lifting element.

Version
Turnbuckle available in steel. For outdoor use or humid/corrosive environments, choose the stainless steel version (available separately).

Dimensional range
Thread sizes available from M6 to M30. Width l1 varies by reference (see variants table). l1 ranges from 160 mm (M6) to 816 mm (M30).

Application
Clevis lantern turnbuckles are commonly used in fittings and rigging to secure or lock components. Compatible with accessories such as shackles, hooks, carabiners and thimbles; suitable with wire ropes, chain or textile slings.
