Hood made from NOMEX, heat resistant and designed for use in combination with a helmet for electricians like the E Series and the EMAN helmets for additional protection. The stronger an electric arc is striking the higher is the risk that the heat wave will underflow the visor and cause face burns. Also the hood is protecting neck and chin of the wearer.
