The pH value must be adjusted to between pH 6.5 and 9 for this prupose. pH values that deviate from this range can damage the sewerage system itself, microorganisms in sewage treatment plants and bodies of water. Acidic or alkaline wastewater is mainly produced during cleaning or rinsing processes. Wastewater neutralisation is easily achieved with the correct dosage of acids or alkalis using an automated neutralisation plant. We provide Split-O-Mat® compact plants for wastewater neutralisation before it is returned indirectly to the environment or Envochem® wastewater neutralisation as a pre-treatment stage for further wastewater treatment.
