Description

The DM45/50 rotary blasthole drill rig, along with its larger counterpart the DML, are among the most popular drills globally, recognized for their productivity, reliability, and low operating costs in a wide range of mining conditions. The robust DM45/50 mainframe and tower design ensure a long asset life, even in the toughest mining environments. The double-cut structural tower lacing provides a strong tower structure without unnecessary weight. When additional air and pulldown are needed, the DM45 can be upgraded to a DM50, offering flexibility for larger hole sizes within the DM45/50 range.

Operator comfort
  • The DM45/DM50 features an insulated, air-conditioned, pressurized cab with an adjustable swivel seat and excellent visibility.
  • All operational functions are controlled from the driller’s console, and the ergonomic layout allows operators to instantly switch from drilling to tramming for increased productivity.

Options to fit your application
  • Choose from a variety of high- and low-pressure compressors to create the right configuration for your drilling operation.
  • Optional on-board automation capabilities are available with the Rig Control System Lite (RCS Lite) for added safety and productivity.

Key Features
  • Electronic Air Regulation System (EARS) is standard
  • Multiple engine and air compressor options
  • High speed feed and retract
