BANDOL WHEEL® 532 – designed for dry (532/I) or dry/wet (532/II) weathering cycles; developed to simulate dry weathering and reproduce the photooxidation process. A shutter can be fitted to the device to introduce dark periods without switching off the light source, extending lamp operating time.
Purpose and application
The BANDOL WHEEL® is a compact accelerated weathering tester intended to accelerate natural weathering (weathering test). Samples are exposed to a target UV irradiation level approximately equivalent to 2 suns. This enables a significant acceleration of the weathering process similar to natural exposure.
