The ES-8 Series Proximity Switch is highly adaptable and can be used in a multitude of applications where a reliable signal is required. Volt free SPCO/SPDT (Form C) contacts as standard with the ability to use as Normally Open or Normally Closed devices. The ES-8 series offers versatility and multi-voltage flexibility by being able to switch either DC or AC and up to 240V. The mounting thread is M18x1.0 and is available either hardwired or with our wireable WLR integrated junction box/connection head. Euroswitch wireable proximity switches alleviate add on components and allow installation where space is at a premium. The standard electrical conduit connection is M20x1.5 with a 1/2"-14 NPT imperial option also available. The presence of an external magnetic actuator is required for operation. Designed for end sensing. Sensing ranges are dependent on the magnetic actuators used. The ES-8 Series is covered by the following hazardous area certifications.
