Overview
The NORTEC 700 is an integrated eddy current flaw detector combining conventional ECT and advanced ECA capabilities in one instrument. Designed for demanding inspection tasks in aerospace, defense and industrial NDT, it supports bolt-hole inspection, dual-frequency testing and array imaging while simplifying setup and on-site operation.

Bolt-hole inspection & layer detection
Automatic layer identification and Freeze Mode reduce false calls during bolt-hole and multi-layer inspections. The Defect Viewer overlays scanner images for precise localization of fastener-related indications.

Connectors & probe support
Standard interfaces include a 16-pin LEMO® universal connector (POWERLINK™ compatible), BNC ECT connector with automatic internal balancing, an ECA connector and I/O for system integration. Automatic probe recognition and instrument presets speed deployments in the field.

Display & layout options
A high-brightness 7-inch display with enhanced color mapping supports multiple user-selectable layouts: single/dual impedance plane, sweep (strip chart), 1:1 view, C-scan, C-scan waterfall, split screen and all-in-one view with up to three configurable traces.

Seamless integration & reliability
The NORTEC 700 integrates with inspection systems and supports remote control via PC software, USB-C peripheral ports and optional Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth. Notable attributes: IP65 rating, -10 °C to 50 °C operating range, 64 GB internal storage, up to 30 kHz sample rate, 32-bit data resolution and three independent alarm types.
