The pro EDGE VG side valve gate system sets new standards for direct side gating. It combines precise gate quality and extended gating options with a maintenance concept that allows easy replacement of wear parts as a single assembly. The convenience known from open side-gating versions has been retained in the valve gate solution.

Valve pin actuation
High-precision, fully synchronous actuation of the valve pins is provided by a latest-generation linear servomotor with motion CONTROL SD control technology. Valve pin stroke and opening speed are infinitely variable and can be adjusted to process requirements.

Extended gating options
pro EDGE VG enables gating on geometries where side gating was previously impractical due to insufficient shear surface. Generally, an area corresponding to the valve pin gate diameter is sufficient.
