Description

Overview
The EXREM10 Series is a second-generation rugged industrial remote control platform certified for operation in ATEX Zone 2 hazardous environments. Originally developed to operate crawlers for cleaning and coating oil storage tank walls, EXREM10 has been redesigned to improve durability, system integration and field maintainability for demanding industrial applications.

Design and electronics
The sealed housing is manufactured from materials selected to balance tensile strength and flexibility, providing high impact resistance and long-term mechanical integrity in harsh conditions. The electronics platform supports expanded communication options, including optional wired Modbus via RS-485 and Profibus, enabling integration with existing PLC and control architectures.

Control and user interface
Each controller can be configured to your application. Ergonomic control layouts reduce operator error and improve safety. Integrated operator feedback — via multi-colour LEDs or a sunlight-readable display — keeps personnel informed during operation. Custom graphics and button layouts can be aligned with site or brand requirements.
