Product overviewThe EXITX000 Series is a third-generation intrinsically safe industrial remote control certified for operation in ATEX/IECEx hazardous areas Zones 0, 20, 1 and 21. Designed as the successor to the EXREM10 Series, it meets intrinsic safety requirements for continuous use where explosive gas or dust atmospheres may be present.
Intrinsic safety and designIntrinsic safety is implemented across both electronics and mechanical design. Circuit energy is strictly limited to prevent ignition under normal and fault conditions. Enclosure and label materials are selected and tested to eliminate potential ignition sources such as ESD, low-energy sparks and excessive surface temperatures, in accordance with common temperature classes (T4).
Configuration and operator feedbackEach controller is configurable to match application requirements. Ergonomic control layouts reduce operator error while improving safety. Integrated feedback is provided via multi-color LEDs or a sunlight-readable display; custom graphics can be applied to align with site or brand requirements.
