Collectors for the mining industry are designed for ecological operation of mining vehicles. The collector is driven electrically (optionally pneumatically) and connects to an overhead contact line installed on selected route sections, for example on inclines. When the collector is used, the mining vehicle is powered by an electric motor, reducing diesel consumption and CO2 emissions.
