Description

Overview
FICEP, in cooperation with inTEC, supplies precision top-coating technology for steel assemblies, profiles and plates. The system offers automated continuous preservation, finishing and drying modules engineered to customer requirements. Stand-alone top coating lines are intended for finished welded steel constructions.

Main capabilities
  • Automated continuous preserving, finishing and drying for steel assemblies, profiles and plates

  • Compatible with 2K paint systems and multi-layer paintwork; supports solvent-based (VOC) and water-based paints

Processes and units
  • Painting unit equipped with airless spray guns (precision application)
  • Preheating station and drying systems: air circulation, UV and infrared technologies; telescopic and transverse drying
  • Dry filter booth for exhaust air and ventilation treatment, including project-specific spray-mist dry filters and optional RTO units
  • Manual or automatic loading/unloading by chain or roller conveyors; integration with existing transport systems (loading/unloading stations, roller conveyors, bespoke chain conveyors, traverse carriages)
  • 3D-scanning and component-recognition technology for contour and weld identification; automated control of coating guns to reduce overcoating and overspray, and to optimise set-up
