A dual pedal safety foot pedal FE-FS2-SU1DO2A/U1-U makes use of safety switches. The twin positions in the right foot pedal are free position and pressed down position. This can be used for selecting AKAS® Box bending function or opening a press. There are three positions in the left foot pedal and are ideally used to control dangerous movements. The two working contacts are 1NC+1NO and they drive the movement. The safety switch will stop the movement. When the foot pedal is pressed until the pressure point, it will allow the changeover of the 2 working contacts. When the pressure point is passed, the contacts will resume their first position and this activates the positive opening safety contact while the dangerous movement is immediately initiated.
