The Ultrasonic technology is based on sound propagation through the air; two transducers are alternately transmitters and receivers. The outward and return transit times induced by the air flow are measured. Using the time difference, the internal calculator measures the wind speed and direction compared to its reference axis. The measured value allows automatic activation of ventilation when required. ADAPTABLE SOLUTION Pillard Windcross™ is adaptable to difficult weather conditions including sub-zero temperatures up to -40°C.
