OverviewThe IBAC 2 is a fully automated airborne bio-detection sensor designed for continuous 24/7 air monitoring or configured for targeted sampling windows aligned to operational hours. The system issues an alarm in less than 60 seconds when a biological threat is detected. IBAC 2 can trigger automated aerosol sample collection on alarm or according to a scheduled sampling frequency. Deployed globally, IBAC 2 detects aerosolized agents across four biological threat classes with a low false alarm rate.
Key Features- Real-time warning capability: autonomous 24/7 operation; detection algorithms for indoor and outdoor environments.
- Alarm-triggered sample collection: collector activates only on high-probability bio-agent events, reducing consumables and samples to process.
- Network and mobile deployment: operates in networked "first-tier" building protection systems or via battery for mobile use.
- Fast alarm response: alarms in less than 60 seconds upon detection of a bio-threat.
- Configurable automated aerosol sampling: triggered by alarms or scheduled at set intervals.
- Detects four threat classes: spores, viruses, cellular agents, and protein toxins.
- Proven low false alarm rate in wide global service.
