OverviewThe identiFINDER® R425 UW builds on the legacy and capabilities of the identiFINDER R400 and identiFINDER R425, combining the advanced sensing performance of the R425 with underwater operation and ruggedization inherited from the R400. The R425 UW is IP68 rated to a depth of 20 meters (66 feet) and meets MIL‑STD‑810G (Salt Fog) requirements. It delivers approximately 3.5× greater gamma sensitivity and over 2× greater neutron sensitivity than the underwater R400 predecessor, in a handheld radionuclide identification device (RID).
Key features- Improved detection coverage — Builds on a proven fielded base of 25,000+ RIDs to provide reliable omnidirectional detection performance.
- Underwater and rugged operation — Handheld unit rated IP68 to 20 m (66 ft) and engineered for saline and harsh environments.
- Rapid situational awareness — Fast detection, onboard identification and multiple communication methods to support timely decision making.
