Dry samples with laboratory-grade drying ovens designed for controlled, repeatable results. The range includes forced-air convection ovens (Essa® DO series) and infrared drying solutions (Essa® RD series). Equipment is specified for thermal stability, directed heating options and suitability for a range of sample types from small test loads to higher-capacity production trays.

• Essa® DO1: Compact electric drying oven for standard mineral laboratory testing. Stainless-steel inner lining, fibreglass insulation, 5 mm steel-plate door with positive closure. Recommended operating temperature: 105°C; maximum 120°C. Total shelf area on trolley: 4.5 m².
• Essa® DO2: Larger production oven with two wheel-in/wheel-out trolleys, total shelf area ~15 m². Stainless-steel lining, fibreglass insulation and powder-coated mesh trolley racks to limit contamination. Heating up to 120°C; designed for high-throughput laboratory environments.
• Essa® DO-L200: Hot-air circulation oven for moisture determination (e.g. ISO 3087). Constant chamber temperature via specialised door/blade technology. Robot‑automation ready with minimal door opening; tray size 450 x 570 mm, capacity 18 trays. Suited for close integration with weighing equipment for automated moisture workflows.
• Essa® RD10 (infrared): Tray dryer using overhead infrared lamps for rapid drying of samples up to ~8 kg. Surface-temperature monitoring enables precise control.
• Essa® RD10HMI: Tray dryer combining overhead infrared lamps with an under-sample hotplate to accelerate drying. Colour touchscreen HMI for setpoint and actual values; pyrometer monitors lamp temperature; contactless sensor and dimmer for lamp control; thermocouple measures hotplate temperature.
• Essa® RD20HMI / RD20XL: Intelligent infrared tray dryers with advanced monitoring and HMI controls. RD20XL provides extra-large sample capacity for higher productivity.
• Essa® RD51 (infrared rotary dryer): Infrared rotary drum dryer for samples around ~15 kg. Rotating drum maintains sample movement and exposes changing surface area for faster, more even drying. Temperature-controlled infrared head transfers heat directly to samples.
