Overview
Machining and cutting line composed of a multispindle machining unit and a downfeed cutting unit with Ø 650 mm blade. Bar passage up to 300 x 300 mm. The multispindle module accepts up to 18 HSK-C40 electrospindles; the cutting unit offers infinite 360° blade rotation to produce a continuous flow of processed and cut-to-measure profiles. The standard scope includes the FU 500 additional machining unit, providing 5-axis flexibility for milling, end machining, rigid tapping and pyramid cuts. The system features a high-visibility soundproof cabin with a luminous FOM logo indicating machine status and a 55-inch LCD for program and bar loading visualization.

• X MODULE: downfeed cutting unit driven by 4 controlled axes (X, Y, Z and rotation A) with Ø 650 mm blade; two groups of motorised vices for alignment and pneumatic locking; vice surfaces equipped with blowers to remove chips.
• Multispindle machining unit: designed for machining on four sides of the profile; tilting electrospindles available with pneumatic or controlled rotation for oblique operations; electrospindles for rigid tapping; designed to receive up to 18 HSK-C40 electrospindles.
• FU 500 (standard as additional unit): 5-axis machining unit with 22 kW, 24,000 rpm electrospindle; 32-position automatic chain magazine; dedicated Ø 500 mm blade; performs milling, boring, end machining, rigid tapping, cuts and pyramid cuts.
• Loading magazine: accumulation and horizontal transfer of profiles; controlled device moves profiles onto bar feeder rollers.
• Profile feed system: horizontal and vertical non-scratch rollers; optional controlled-axis tilting device to support complex geometries automatically.
• Gripper and supplementary grippers: main gripper with automatic controlled positioning for pick-up at variable angles; X PUSH supplementary gripper for loading profile packs and solid profiles; XPULL unloading gripper optimised for large-surface unloading to increase autonomy.
• Unloading magazine: rapid extraction, storage and compaction of finished pieces on motorised belts, with blowing phase for cleaning finished pieces.
• X LAB: automatic label printer for application to the moving bar; label can be applied to top or rear side (FOM Industrie patent).
• 55-inch LCD screen for program and bar loading visualization; soundproof cabin with wide visibility and luminous FOM logo indicating machine status.

Integrated software
FSTLine4 is the management software for FOM Industrie cutting and cutting & machining lines. FSTLine4 allows complete machine programming from machining operation setup to worklist management and is integrated with LOLA for process coordination.

Variants & flexibility
Six configurable variants are available based on the length of loading/unloading magazines and the material feed direction (right or left). The system is designed to produce a continuous flow of processed and cut-to-measure elements and to accept multiple configurations for specific production needs.
