Description

4V Parallel Blocks 4V Parallel Blocks with a flat side 2V Parallel Blocks with tightening clamps These blocks are used for calibrations in several levels of precision, and are thus available in various tolerances regarding planarity, normality, and face parallelism: • Top precision +/- 0.005 (X32C13 UNI 4047 hardened steel, hardness HRc 48/50) • High precision +/- 0.01 (X32C13 UNI 4047 hardened steel, hardness HRc 48/50) • Standard precision +/- 0.02 (G26 UNI 668 cast-iron, hardness 200 ÷ 220 HB and slow stabilization pearlitic structure) Dumping is made in order to avoid after-tempering cracking. V-cuts are symmetrical to the center, parallel to the side faces and perpendicular to the head. 4V Parallel Blocks with an I section 4V Parallel Blocks with a flat side and an I section 1 V Parallel Prisms These blocks can be manufactured at different levels of precision regarding planarity, normality, and face parallelism: High precision +/- 0.01 Standard precision +/- 0.02 In both cases, the material being employed is G26 UNI 668 cast-iron, with a hardness of 200 ÷ 220 HB and a pearlitic structure, oven-annealed or aged either naturally or in a thermal shock oven for slower stabilization. Dumping is made in order to avoid after-tempering cracking. V-cuts are symmetrical to the center, parallel to the side faces and perpendicular to the head. Parallels for cranks These pieces are manufactured at a high level of precision, with a tolerance of +/- 0.01 pertaining to planarity, parallelism and normality of the V cuts, which are parallel to the support surface.
