The FSM compacting conveyor is known for its efficient and hygienic handling of screenings. It is used to dewater, compact and convey screenings or other wet waste materials. Disposing of waste especially wet screenings which are heavy can increase costs. The FSM compacting conveyor reduces the weight and volume of the screenings and delivers the septage in the water to sewage purification processes. Available in 3 sizes with screw diameters of 200, 300 and 400 mm the machine provides high performance with low operating costs. Waste materials from a screw conveyor, conveyor belt or screen are dropped into the inlet hopper. The worm screw then conveys, dewaters and compacts the waste material. Any water escaping from the compacted material is released to the flume.
