Pharma Pure Steam Generator Completely cusomizable equipment starting from 50 lt/hr flow rate OPERATING PRINCIPLE The system of the pure steam generator model PPSG is based on the thermal convection principle. The feed water is pumped in the plant from the lower part of the evaporation column and into the DTS exchanger (pipes side) connected to it, where a special level transmitter guarantees the constant level in the evaporation column. The heating fluid (industrial steam or heated water) enters the shell side of the DTS exchanger and goes to the recovery through a steam trap. The heated tube bundle determines a remarkable convective motion of the water, quickly bringing it to the evaporation temperature. The steam produced is sent to the evaporation chamber whose wide section reduces the ascensional speed in order to avoid possible dragging of impurities and particles of not evaporated water; then the revert to the lower part of the column and back to the tube bundle thanks to the convective motion. A second system of separation of water droplets has been set in the higher part of the column in order to get good quality pure steam. The pure steam supply is managed through a pneumatic modulating valve activated by a pressure transducer device, in order to adjust the pure steam output according to the required pressure inside the boiling chamber.
