The GESERCO TAN Test Kit is a true portable lubricant analysis mini laboratory.


The GESERCO TAN Test Kit is designed for determining the oil acid number (AN) at the operation site of the lubricated equipment. Now toluene-free, it is now safer to operate, while offering maximum efficiency and reliability.


The test is simple and rapid and the kit includes a detailed testing and interpretation guide so that the engineer can make immediate decisions for maintaining the lubricated equipment and increasing its lifespan.


The GESERCO TAN Test Kit allows avoiding the effects of lubricant ageing and oxidation:

To improve the operator’s experience, the TAN Test Kit now includes a lightbox. This innovative tool makes it easier to detect subtle color changes in the oil sample and evaluate when the endpoint of the reaction has been reached. By enhancing color perception, the lightbox ensures a more reliable Acid Number measurement, providing operators with easier use and greater repeatability.

The new, simplified version of the TAN Test, the TAN Premium, offers a more economical and less sensitive solution while maintaining high accuracy in lubricant acid number analysis.
