Description

NDT SCANNER is an automatic x-ray inspection system designed to detect foreign objects and different types of defects inside items under examination. Products to be inspected can be of different shapes and sizes. A conveyor belt, which can be integrated with pre-existing production lines, automatically moves the item to be inspected into the equipment. The system features advanced hardware and software solutions coupled with simple and adaptable mechanics, the result of Gilardoni’s long experience in the x-ray field. NDT scanner, with its precise design and redundant shielding, can be installed in standard industrial settings without the need to add further protections against x-ray leakage. CONTROL SOFTWARE Specialized software for a complete system diagnostics with the following functions: ■ Alarm control ■ X-ray generator management ■ X-ray detector monitoring ■ Automatic sensor adjusting NDT SCANNER features the latest generation hardware platform and is extremely easy to use thanks to the simplified user interface. The tested objects are displayed on high resolution 24“ LCD monitors to minimize operator eyestrain. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS ■ Product anomalies identification ■ Identification of polluting material in foods (metal, glass, stones, etc.) ■ Testing for correct filling of containers (i.e.: boxes of chocolates) ■ Verification of correct positioning of components ■ NDT (Non Destructive Testing) of light alloy articles
