Features The bogie is developed for the operation in the UK. The bogie frame is fabricated without front and back transverse beams. The brake is simple, asymmetric, suitable for as called “push” brake. The bogie is optimized for the UK intermodal wagons, but it can fit any other wagon types. The bogie is NTSN certified, and it meets also NTR regulations, as well. Capabilities The bogie is assembled with weighing valve and upper central pivot. The ER8 wheel material offers longer mileage between reprofiling. The bogie can be transformed to European operation.
