Commercial water disinfection Full automatic system for preparation of solutions from dry or concentrated liquid polymers Polymer unit description Polymer preparation unit for dry polymers with three chambers and automated operation based on maintenance-free ultrasonic level sensing (24 VDC, 4-20 mA). The tank material must be polypropylene. The operational principle combines continuous and batch preparation by establishing a water trap in the second chamber during water intake. The chambers must be separated by walls to protect the water trap. The polymer unit must have inspection holes to ensure easy inspection. The polymer preparation unit must include a dry material feeder and a polymer wetting device to secure homogenous initial wetting of polymers. The water flow to the wetting device must be adjustable to avoid splashing inside the wetting device. The polymer preparation unit must have a water inlet with shut-off valve, solenoid valve (24 VDC), pressure-reducing valve, strainer and contact water meter The unit must be controlled by a Siemens S7-series PLC with a graphical touchscreen with English and Chinese menus to ensure optimal commissioning and operation. The unit must be serviced without the use of special tools. The supplier must deliver commissioning of the unit as part of the purchase agreement.
