TD is a thermal deaerator with dome that removes dissolved oxygen by steam to less than 0.02 mg/l in boiler feedwater. TD uses a cascade system, making it less sensitive to changes in feedwater flow. Standard features for a TD thermal deaerator with dome The TD is a spray & tray-type thermal deaerator, also known as a cascade-type, produced and CE-marked in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). The vessel features an external coating, while the dome is made from stainless steel AISI 304 for excellent corrosion resistance. Steam is injected from the bottom for easy control and passes through the dome for optimal deaeration. The dome also serves as the storage tank for deaerated boiler feedwater.
