Description

The FAW radiator heater is ATEX, IECEX and CAS certified for installation in indoor spaces (in the standard version) or inside switchgear and controlgear cabinets (in the compact version). The products are intended for indoor heating of workplaces in warehouse buildings, hangars, processing plant rooms and similar locations where explosive gas atmosphere is present. The space heaters can be optionally provided with ATEX-certified thermostat controls. The space heaters can be installed on the floor or suspended above it. The FAW radiator heaters are ATEX-certified for operation in Ex Zones 1 and 2 (with flammable gases and liquid vapours). This series of space heaters can be used in small enclosed spaces, like cabinets of switchgear and control gear, or larger indoor locations, including warehouse buildings, hangars, or processing plant rooms. The products are compatible with single or three-phase alternating current or direct current supply systems. The space heaters are lightweight for easy installation on the floor (with the included feet) or wall mounting (with optionally available fixtures). The space heaters can be optionally ordered with Ex-proof remote thermostat controls. The main components are made of powder-coated stainless steel grade 316L and 304. The heating element is protected with a mesh guard. The standard product is supplied with a 20 mm cable gland. More cable glands can be provided on request. The permitted ambient operating temperature of the space heaters ranges from -60˚C to +60˚C.
