The GURLEY Price Meters can be delivered with either headphones or digital styles, and guarantee speed and precision for measuring of various flows, except lowest (AA type). The headphone model has two possibilities, one being generation of one click per every rotation, or one every five rotations of the shaft, depending on the contact connection. The digital version feature a slotted hub extension that performs rotation between a light-emitting diode and a photo-receptor, and pulses during alignment are then routed towards the digital flow indicator (Model 1100), after which they are converted to a direct digital readout of stream velocity. Both versions are suspended from a bridge or boat via cable outfit with a lead weight. They can also be mounted on a wading rod, mostly for measurements in shallow streams, ditches, conduits or wastewater systems.
