Combining 80 years of experience with the latest technology has allowed us to become the first manufacturer to create an automated post-processing system specifically for EBM (Electron Beam Melting) additive builds. The Powder Recovery System (PRS) blast system comprises the blast chamber, with build box integration and containing a roof-mounted 6 axis robot, as well as a high-efficiency cyclone powder separator and dust collection system. Loading the entire build box into the system allows easy transfer from build to post-process while minimising potential powder loss and contamination. Once inside, the build is automatically raised in stages, allowing the twin, robot mounted blast guns to do their work. Blasting with the removed powder ensures that your components and powder remain undamaged and uncontaminated. Small, unusual or difficult to access parts can be blasted using the manual armholes for a complete one-stop solution. Working with our sieving and blending technology partners, Guyson has created a system that manages the post-printing process using a production mentality. Precise control systems and adjustment options ensure that only unwanted powder is extracted to the dust collector from the cyclone. Fully stainless steel construction ensures that recovered powder remains uncontaminated, while load cells weighing powder in and out allow accurate powder tracing.
