Scorcher Wheels Capacity Range: 600 – 1,400 lbs. Temperature Range: -70°F – 550°F Scorcher Wheels are the go-to non-marking solution for general duty high heat applications. The new Scorcher wheel is well-suited for industrial applications such as autoclaves, product finish systems, food manufacturing, or other extreme environments. Scorcher wheels are injection molded 33% glass fiber reinforced, heat stabilized nylon 6/6 material to provide non-marking floor protection, near zero water absorption and long service life. The wheels are also resistant to most solvents, oils, acids, and chemicals. Though they won’t win any beauty contests, Scorcher wheels make up for this with their durability, providing an impressive tensile strength of 27,000 psi (ASTM D638). The tough material provides superior abrasion and wear resistance and sustains high impact. Scorcher wheels have also been shown to outperform the common high heat phenolic wheels that tend to crack and become brittle over time. Scorcher wheels are offered in diameters ranging from 3” to 8” and ship standard with steel needle roller bearings for easy rolling and high temperature grease.
