Overview
The MOLD 301 is a laser welding system for precision repair and build-up welding on injection molds and tooling. It delivers localized welds with a small heat-affected zone to minimise distortion and reduce post-weld finishing operations.

  • 1064 nm laser with max output 300 W and pulse energy options: 30 J (standard), 60 J / 90 J (optional).
  • Small spot diameter and minimal heat-affected zone to avoid porosity, collapse and metallographic changes.
  • Coaxial microscope observation for accurate focus and positioning; liquid-crystal shutter and full-reflection eye protection; optional CCD monitor.
  • Rigid XYZ worktable: XY travel 100 × 100 mm (step motor), Z stroke 500 mm; worktable load < 80 kg; table size 600 × 800 mm.
  • Supports continuous and intermittent operation modes for stable production repairs; effective for repairing cracks, chips and localized damage.


Typical applications
Repair and build-up welding of mold cavities, cores and tooling used in mobile phones, electronic devices, automotive and motorcycle industries. Suitable for mold steels, stainless steel, beryllium copper, precious metals and very hard materials (up to HRC60).
