Hansheng PU series platform conjugate indexers contain two plate cams fixed on the inlet shaft and a roller turret that rotates with the cams to drive the output shaft. The PU type indexers are designed with a parallel conjugate cam mechanism, i.e., the indexing function of the output shaft is achieved by the operation of the roller turret rotated by the rotation of the two plate cams engaged on the input shaft.

The PU cam indexer is mainly suitable for rotary belt drives with long distances or for intermittent indexing with long dwell times. In addition, Hansheng also offers three-piece cam indexers, which are more suitable for some fast and long pitch rotary conveyors with longer dwell times than two-piece cam indexers.
Paradex model, consisting of two cam discs mounted on the input shaft and a ring gear carrying the cam mechanism on the output shaft. This indexing actuator has a flat cam mechanism, in which the cam on the input contacts the two cam discs that transmit rotation to the ring gear on the output shaft. It is best suited for driving conveyor belts travelling at long feed intervals, or for intermittent shifts that stop at long intervals. The other type is the heavy-duty three-disc cam.
