During normal operation dusty air enters the HJ-P/C filter from the front panels. The air is channeled through the pre-chamber which allows to heaviest particles to be pre-separated and fall down into the hoppers increasing the lifetime and the efficiency of filtering bags. Pulse jet cleaning system triggers a high energy compressed air jet inside the bags by producing a mechanical shaking which helps the dust cake which lies on the external surface of the bags.
