Description

Overview
The HAUS Avocado Oil Production Plant is an integrated continuous system that executes all processing stages in a controlled flow, from raw fruit preparation to oil separation and purification. The line removes foreign materials, separates pits and peels from flesh, reduces flesh to a homogeneous paste and promotes oil release during malaxation. Phase separation is performed by a decanter centrifuge and crude oil is polished in a disc stack separator to obtain high-purity avocado oil.

Main Equipment
  • Avocado washing machine
  • Avocado pit separator-crusher machine
  • Malaxer
  • Lobe pump
  • Decanter centrifuge
  • Disc stack separator
  • Conveyor and transfer systems

System Purpose
The HAUS plant is designed to process avocados under hygienic conditions, extract oil from fruit flesh and efficiently separate oil from liquid and solid phases while maintaining a continuous production flow and optimizing water use through recovery.

Production Objectives
  • Prepare avocados in accordance with hygienic production standards
  • Preserve fruit integrity during handling
  • Controlled separation of pits and peels from flesh
  • Produce homogeneous avocado paste suitable for malaxation
  • Perform malaxation at controlled temperature and speed to favor oil release
  • Efficiently separate oil, vegetation water and pomace
  • Remove free water, fine solids and sediments from the oil
  • Maintain continuous and consistent production flow
  • Reduce water consumption through water recovery systems

Process Stages (Process Stage — Equipment — Function)
1. Washing — Avocado Washing Machine — Removal of foreign materials and hygienic preparation of fruit
2. Pit Separation and Crushing — Avocado Pit Separator-Crusher Machine — Separation of pit and peel from flesh and preparation of homogeneous paste
3. Malaxation — Malaxer and Lobe Pump — Controlled mixing of paste to promote oil droplet coalescence and release
4. Phase Separation — Decanter Centrifuge — Separation of oil, liquid and pomace phases
5. Oil Purification — Disc Stack Separator — Removal of residual free water, fine solids and sediments from crude oil
6. Material Transfer — Conveyor and Transfer Systems — Continuous transfer of materials between stages

Working Principle
The line comprises raw material inspection and sorting, washing with water circulation and rinsing, pit and peel separation via a rotor-and-screen arrangement, homogenization to produce a uniform paste, controlled malaxation and centrifugal phase separation. Typical malaxation reference conditions are 30–45 °C at low speed for approximately 40–45 minutes to promote droplet coalescence and oil release. The decanter separates three outlet phases (avocado oil, vegetation water, pomace). The crude oil is then clarified in the disc stack separator to remove residual water, fine solids and sediment, yielding a high-purity oil suitable for further refining or packaging.

Features
  • Effective cleaning and preparation to support hygienic processing
  • Gentle handling to preserve fruit integrity and minimize losses
  • Water recovery solutions to reduce consumption and lower operating costs
  • Integrated pit separation and crushing to simplify process flow
  • Homogenization to obtain paste with suitable particle size for malaxation
  • Controlled malaxation (low-speed, temperature-controlled) to favor oil release
  • Continuous decanter technology for efficient phase separation
