Product Overview
The SWE Series Basket-type Screw Press (model SWE-405) delivers continuous, energy-efficient dewatering of sludge with high filtration precision thanks to wedge-wire basket screens, a clog-resistant V-profile and low pressure drop. The inclined-bowl design conveys solids via a conveyor screw with adjustable speed and torque to achieve high dryness after thickening in wastewater treatment applications.

Operating Principle
Feed sludge advances along the inclined wedge-wire basket screen driven by the screw conveyor. Filtrate passes through the screen gaps while the solid phase consolidates; a pressure cone at the bowl discharge progressively compresses the solids to maximize dryness. Screen cleaning is performed automatically by periodic high-pressure spray, and the pressure cone adjusts automatically to variable inlet solids to ensure consistent dry solids discharge.
