Balancing of truck wheels has increasingly become of great importance in recent years. At the same time, the necessity for greater accuracy, centering quality and repeatability has also increased. HAWEKA meets all these requirements with special clamping devices that are specifically designed for trucks. If one only uses a cone centering device, one does not achieve any reproducible results. A wheel that has been balanced with a changeover error test can show a new imbalance of up to 300 g or more. In order to avoid this, the HAWEKA clamping device for trucks should be used. This prevents the weight of the wheel from resting on the shaft. The specially designed bolts go through the wheel attachment holes and the centering ring behind them provides support for the bolts. With this method, the changeover error can be reduced to less than 50 grams.
