Description

Overview
HEGGEL® FRP are glass fiber reinforced lining systems for application on primed steel and concrete substrates. They provide chemically and mechanically resistant, crack‑bridging linings for storage tanks, sumps, basins, trafficked floors and other liquid‑handling structures. Systems are selected by resin base (Vinyl‑Ester, Furan, Phenolic, Epoxy) according to process and exposure conditions.

HEGGEL® FRP 310
Fiber‑reinforced epoxy laminate for crack‑bridging protection on primed steel, concrete or HEGGEL acid protection membranes.
  • Direct adhering primer on steel and concrete surfaces
  • Excellent chemical resistance
  • High temperature resistance up to +160°C (dry)

HEGGEL® FRP 311
Glass‑mat reinforced epoxy lining system for chemically resistant, liquid‑tight protection of concrete and steel; compatible with other HEGGEL coating and putty systems.
  • High resistance to solvents, acids, alkalis, oils and fats
  • Thermally resistant up to 70°C at the laminate surface
  • Solvent‑free binder system
  • Bridges cracks up to 0.4 mm

HEGGEL® FRP 320
Multi‑component phenolic laminate for crack‑bridging protection on prepared, primed steel or concrete and over compatible rubber linings.
  • Temperature resistance up to 60°C on concrete and up to 90°C (dry) on steel, depending on chemicals
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
  • Very good resistance to inorganic and organic acids, oils, greases, fuels and solvents
  • Electrical conductivity achievable with HEGGEL Hybrid Fleece

HEGGEL® FRP 321
Glass‑mat reinforced phenolic lining (≈3 mm) offering chemical resistance and optional electrical conductivity when applied with hybrid mats; compatible with HEGGEL Pox coatings, sheets and rubber linings.
  • Excellent resistance to acids and solvents
  • High temperature resistance up to +90°C (dry)
  • Electrically conductive option (with hybrid mat)

HEGGEL® FRP 333
Glass‑mat reinforced furan lining providing high chemical resistance for prepared steel and cementitious substrates and over compatible rubber linings.
  • Temperature resistance up to 60°C on concrete and up to 100°C (dry) on steel, depending on chemicals
  • Very high resistance to inorganic/organic acids and alkalis
  • High resistance to greases, oils, fuels, solvents and hydrocarbons
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications
  • 450 g/m² glass mat can replace 300 g/m² where required
  • Electrically conductive version possible

HEGGEL® FRP 340
Bisphenol‑A epoxy vinyl ester laminate for broad resistance to acids, alkalis and solvents; system includes primer, laminate and top coat for tanks, vessels, sumps and containment areas.
  • Good workability and air drying
  • Temperature resistance on steel up to +100°C
  • Excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and oxidizers
  • Crack‑bridging capability
  • Very good adhesion to concrete
  • High mechanical strength and toughness
  • High flexibility and extended shelf life for handling

HEGGEL® FRP 341
Glass‑mat reinforced epoxy vinyl ester lining for internals of tanks, scrubbers, sumps and wastewater units; suitable for marine environments.
