QAL1:
To ensure quality assurance in accordance with EN 14181 (measuring instruments for emission monitoring), the devices can be supplied with QAL1 certificates. With a QAL1-certified pyrometer, you comply with legal requirements, for example according to Directive 2010/75/EU (MHKW, KVA, industrial furnaces), and the authorities accept the devices without additional individual proof.
Further advantages of QAL1 pyrometers are:
- The devices have been validated in the laboratory and in field tests by an approved testing agency (e.g., TÜV, CSA, MCERTS).
- There are defined limit values for drift, linearity, reproducibility, and influencing factors.
- QAL1 devices must demonstrate their stability over extended operating periods. This reduces calibration and maintenance costs and increases operational reliability.
