Description

Measurements made outdoors and in different climate zones place high demands on both the stability of the measurement and the resistance to adverse environmental conditions. Our instruments have endured varying conditions ranging from the deserts, to polar regions, to ocean vessels. Producing a reliable high quality non-contact infrared temperature measurement is challenging for low temperature measurements, especially when ambient temperature change and solar heating of the instrument housing is occurring. For this purpose, the pyroelectric chopped radiation method used by HEITRONICS offers superior advantages over the technique used with a thermopile detector. Meteorologists, Climatologists and Ocean & Marine Biology Scientists from around the world recognize HEITRONICS for producing highest reliability and quality infrared temperature measurement of sea/lake/river surfaces, land, snow, ice and the sky. Agriculture Scientists and Commercial Growers and Greenhouse Operators also rely upon HEITRONICS to provide the most accurate leaf canopy temperature, for example.
