This blender series has the same rule with the six flat leaves openning turbine blender,and the mixing capability is weaker than the six leaves blender in the same conditions,but the synthetic performance is superior to the six leaves blender when higher velocity required,so that it is more widely used.The common condition is μ<50000cp,n=10-400rpm,V=1~10m/s,Dj/D=0.2~0.6,and usually adopted 0.4,the wide blender is B/Dj=0.2,the narrow blender is B/Dj=0.125. The flat blade impeller and curved blade impeller are radial flow.When there is baffle,the upper and down circulating flows the blade boundary.There are also axial shunting,nearly axial flow type for the opposite pitched subsidiary blade impeller.
