Description

SRG - BMW Air Breather project adopts automatic dispensing production line with 3-position rotary circular platform. lK-polyurethane material is used in this project and physical foaming technology is adopted to foam solid glue. A certain volume of inert gas is inserted and dispersed evenly into polyol and form gas bubble after stirring and mixing, gas bubble released pressure and expand until the physical reaction changes the liquid to solid polymer. This production line consists of multiple main components, they are: 3-axis linear machine embedded with plasma head for surface pre-treatment, 6-axis robot embedded with mixing head for foaming application, visual system for part identification, curing oven for faster curing results of glue strip and 3-position rotary circular platform. The advantage of 3-position rotary circular platform is to realize different tasks (loading/unloading with part identification, plasma surface treatment and foaming application) at respective workstation at the same time. German Beckhoff control system is adopted with 15-inch touch-screen monitor. This control system is well known in user friendly operation, superior performance of anti-interference as well as imbedded with remote device for real time, zero-distance machine troubleshooting.
