If space is limited, ballscrews with cylindrical nuts are ideal. They can be fully integrated into the application. To install them, the nut is clamped and secured against twisting by means of a feather key. Lubricant is supplied via a circumferential groove. HIWIN DEB-x flanged single nuts with peeled shaft are particularly suitable for transport and positioning tasks. They are typically equipped with a cassette recirculation system and come with axial backlash as standard, but can also be preloaded with up to 5% of the basic dynamic load rating if required. Thanks to the variable wiper concept of the DEB-x nuts, different wipers are available depending on the nut size.
