Description

Our team at HLC recently completed a challenging project for a Japanese client, producing over 100 precision mold inserts that included mold cavities and mold cores. This project required a high level of precision and accuracy in manufacturing the mold spare components. To meet the client's requirements, we utilized advanced manufacturing techniques, including CNC machining, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), and surface grinding, achieving tolerances as tight as ±0.002mm. We produced mold inserts in a range of sizes, from small and intricate pieces measuring a few millimeters, to larger components up to 500mm in length. We took great care to ensure the highest quality standards were met during production. Upon completion, we provided the client with detailed inspection reports and testing results that demonstrated the quality and performance of the mold inserts. Our reports included detailed information on dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, and material analysis. The client was impressed with the quality of the mold inserts and appreciated the thoroughness of our testing and inspection procedures.
