Automatic cleaning machine

Crucible Cleaning Machine is part of HMR’s tapping system. The cleaner, as most of the machines from HMR Hydeq, is fully automatic and can be operated by the vehicle operator. The tapping vehicle leaves the crucible on a pallet. The crucible is picked up and tilted, in order to empty metal and dross in separate skips. A full profile mill, driven by hydraulic motor, removes dross and other residues in one operation. The optimal temperature for the operation is 600-700o C. A hood ensures that the dust and gases are captured and cleaned in a dust extraction system.
