The instrument is based on the scintillation chamber method. The gas containing radon is sucked into the scintillation chamber with an air pump. The alpha particles emitted by radon and its daughters make the ZnS (Ag) coating in the scintillation chamber glow. The photomultiplier tube then converts this light signal into electrical pulses. The control and measurement circuit composed of a single-chip microcomputer reshapes the electrical pulse output by the detector and counts regularly. The number of pulses per unit time is proportional to the concentration of radon, so as to determine the concentration of radon in the air.
Features
* It can measure the concentration of radon in ambient air and soil, as well as the precipitation rate.
* Small size, light weight, portable design, suitable for field work.
* 5-inch color touch screen, multi-parameter man-machine interaction, friendly interface and simple operation.
* High sensitivity, can achieve lower radon concentration measurement.
