The ALUSYS is a data acquisition system used for computing heat fluxes and surface temperature. This device is made for the study of aluminum smelters or furnaces. Depending on the type of model, the electronics can accept 12 or 3 sensors. With the help of PC via USB, the assembled data can be exported. The PC can be used to monitor on-line graphs and data collection. It is operated by a battery which can work for at least 24 hours.
Its robust structure makes this device capable of operating even in high temperatures. Additionally, the system offers a low thermal resistance and enhanced measurement accuracy. The one sensor model is suited to be used for measurements happening on the shell and the powder material.
