Description
In addition to proven compact piston seal GD1000K
and GKD Hunger offers a slim version GD1000K-S
which is identical in construction to most of competitors
piston seals with integrated bearing elements.
The seal kit combines a compact sealing and bearing
function especially for shorter piston widths and can
be used for already existing groove designs. Standard
version of GD1000K-S is a double acting, 6 part piston
seal consisting of two L-rings, two bearing elements ,
one elastomer energizer and a PTFE-compound slide
ring which can easily be pulled and assembled over
the piston.
Both L-rings protect the slide ring from gap extrusion
even at higher pressure grades, the low friction PTFEcompound
slide ring enables smooth, stick-slip free
piston movement. Listed dimensions are equipped with
same wear resistant and reliable standard materials
like GD1000K - these can be modified and adapted
to all kinds of requirements of the hydraulic cylinder.
