Overview
Rotary Tube Pro™ makes it fast and easy to design and cut tube and pipe parts for mechanized rotary cutting. Supports stand-alone units and cutting table add-ons for plasma, laser, waterjet, and oxyfuel machines. Integrates with machine partners’ plasma tube and pipe cutters for seamless operation.

  • Easy part creation and development: create round or rectangular tube parts with parametric input; standard tube sizes and schedule pipe parameters provided or custom sizes allowed; 3D model updates in real time and can be freely moved and rotated; 2D layout view available; branches and cutouts support (interior definitions, intersection type options, new main tubes from branches).
  • Support for a variety of end cuts: straight, miter, pipe intersection.
  • Simplified costing: user-defined machine and labor production costing; automatic calculation of part production costs and part/nest utilization.
  • Automatic nesting: true shape or rectangular nesting.
  • Common line cutting included as standard (cut two or more parts that share a common edge).
  • CAD/CAM import and conversion: import DXF files for cutouts, DXF text for cutting, and STEP file import for 3D CAD.
  • Choice of output: advanced post-processor for perpendicular cutting with NC output, scribe support, DXF output.

Optional modules
  • Rotary Bevel Interface: for machines with a programmable bevel head. Generates a 3D model with true intersecting branch angles and end cuts, allows weld prep cuts, and supports output of multi-axis, machine-specific bevel code. Requires one Rotary Bevel Machine Post Processor.
